Dear 5month Old Baby Of Mine.

Jaxon Dwight. Oh my goodness you are freaking old now! Where in the world did the times you were kicking my intestines go? Remember those days? Of course you don't. I nearly do either! Isn't that just something? I remember this time last year,I was just getting over the fact that I was pregnant, and now?? I'm nearly grasping the idea that your 5 FREAKING MONTHS OLD!!!

You have done so many awesome things this month of December:

You learned how to pull things down- which made playing with that monkey way more fun. Your rolling over got really good, even though it still scares me every time you do it. Your giggling has gotten to infectious levels. Anyone around you smiles with a big goofy grin when you giggle like the silly goose you are. Your cheeks got squishier!!! Oh how I love your tiny squishy cheeks!! And the day you decided that toys were fun? That was a good day! You had your first Christmas, and opened your first presents this month... OH HOW YOU LOVE THE IDEA OF RIPPING PAPER!!! You took to that like a pro!! You ate apples and bananas, we sneaked you some pudding and you LOVED it! You also found the simple awesomeness of condensation on drinks, and you just think it's the bees knees when you can hold Mommy's cups of water and chew on the rim... I don't really get it, but you just smile from ear to ear when I let you. You also moved into your crib, like last night... which was MUUUUCH harder for me than it was for you.

I didn't think it was even at all possible but this month you gained more personality. You think people are funny, you like certain toys better than others [right now it's balls and blocks, very old school] And decided when you wanted things and didn't. Like the controller? So awesome! And every time we change the channel? You let us know how much you think it would be cooler if you could change the channels.... which it probably would be cooler, like when it's cooler when your "playing" with our cell phones than we are, but ya know, alot less efficient.

This month was much more fun than last month. You liked going places more, you smiled more, and you just all around liked things better. Probably because you had sweeter fashions this month, or maybe because it's so much nicer outside than the 80 degree weather it was basically every other month.


We're about to see a new year, which is obviously going to be your first New Years Eve too, and even though I'm sure you won't be awake when the ball drops I'm super excited your here with us to celebrate it!  Your one awesome little dude, Jax... I can't wait to spend 2012 with you! =)
